Pam Grossman is here to drop a rather sick track on us. She’s gonna slather some of her witchly potion all over our earholes.
Some of you surely know Pam from her wildly popular podcast, The Witch Wave. But she also has a new book out called Waking the Witch: Reflections on Women, Magic and Power, which has been described as a whip-smart and illuminating exploration of the world’s fascination with witches, why they’ve intrigued us for centuries and why they’re more relevant now than ever. It’s part cultural analysis and part memoir, which, I dunno, I kinda feel like could be the synopsis for every episode of this podcast. So, this one was, by all accounts, a good fit, all things considered.
There is a 40-minute Patreon extension with Pam. More on that after the chat. But for now, draw those wands, ready those broomsticks and let’s prepare ourselves for battle against the dark arts with the one and only phantasmaphile herself.
